Metric Motors was established in 1969 by Elfar. He immigrated from Iceland in 1964 and worked for the Mercedes dealership in Utah before moving to Reno. He is a factory trained Mercedes technician and has over 50 years experience in the field.

In 1979 his son Sandur joined the company. He brings 33+ years of Mercedes and BMW experience, specializing in diagnosis of fuel injection and electrical problems.Now four locations later, We have a new location and Sandur has taken over ownership.
